In April 2007, the Mayor of Issaquah, representatives from the City Council and members of the Issaquah Chamber of Commerce traveled to Morocco for a formal sister-city signing ceremony with Chefchaouen's Mayor and the US Ambassador to Morocco. |

| Summer Camp 2006 :: AMIE takes ten girls from the USA to Morocco |

AIME Summer Camp, Morocco. AMIE sent 10 American students to Morocco, where they joined 10 Moroccan students for a two-week program of travel, cultural exchange and learning; tours included Casablanca, Marrakech, Chaouen and Rabat. Students also delivered donated computers to a school in Chefchaouen. |

| Summer Camp 2005 :: AMIE brings seven girls from Morocco to the Northwest |

Seven girls traveled from Morocco to Issaquah, WA. They learned and lived with seven American girls and their families. Students spent one week at Microsoft and attended their DigiGirlz program, visited the University of Washington campus and participated in an engineering activity, toured and learned from professionals at the Smashing Ideas studio and traveled to Lake Chelan for two days of swimming and outdoor fun. |

| Summer Camp 2004 :: AMIE's first trip to Morocco |

Our first program provided all school supplies for 80 students in Morocco – the first step toward educating teens in Morocco and the US about the kindness and generosity of people in both countries. |
